We’re proud that our continuous commitment to sustainability has now been awarded the South Tyrol Sustainability Label – and not just at Level 1, but at Level 2! This label, based on the stringent criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), recognizes tourism stakeholders who care about the well-being of our unique nature and the people of South Tyrol. It shows that we don’t just talk, we act. With concrete measures, we’re committed to preserving our traditions and actively contributing to a sustainable living environment in South Tyrol.
Franz, the dedicated farmer, lovingly cares for the nature around the farm, while Anni adorns Kompatscherhof with handcrafted jewellery and herbs. Gerhard pampers you with fresh, local delicacies from the area, and Petra ensures that nothing is missing. For us, sustainability means not only responsibly managing resources but also offering authentic hospitality that is felt in everything we do.
Achieving Level 2 of the South Tyrol Sustainability Label is a significant milestone for us. It shows that we’ve deepened our efforts by developing a concrete action plan and defining measures to reduce our ecological footprint. This process is regularly reviewed, which motivates us to continue working on innovative solutions and constantly improving our Kompatscherhof.
